Eating for Happiness

Eating for Happiness is a cookbook focused on the nutrients necessary in order to improve your depressive symptoms. The micronutrients include: Folate, Serotonin, Omega-3, and Tryptophan. All which are all important in bettering factors like the quality of sleep, memory, and reducing stress levels.

The cookbook consists of a color coordinated key that explains how each micronutrient can help aid in improving your daily life. The color is associated with the different recipes throughout the cookbook by a small colored circle underneath each image. The recipes ingredients are specific to the individual micronutrients that were researched extensively.

The design is minimal and the negative space throughout it allows for an understandable and organized layout for locating recipes. Eating for Happiness features a table of contents which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options. Depression can be tackled naturally, through healthy and nutritious recipes aimed at making you more positive
